I loved planning my wedding but was pretty tired by the time we were a month away and waiting at City Hall in downtown NYC to get our marriage license.  It really is a beautiful place to get married and they even have a little gift shop where you can purchase pretty bouquets.  My fiance suggested that we just elope at that moment and had I not been wearing an ugly argyle sweater and khaki's that morning I might have done it.

Yummy Favors

I'm a big fan of edible favors.  We gave out gourmet coffee for our wedding and some of my favorite favors  received include honey, wine and baked goods.  Love these sweets in jars from All Jarred Up on Esty. I wish I had the idea to make the muffins in jars last year to go with the bags of coffee that we gave to our guests. Perfect for out of town guest bags too!

Rue is Here!

I'm so excited to see the first issue of the new online shelter mag Rue. Domino magazine left such a void when it closed that it's twice as exciting to see these online mags popping up. Enjoy!
